Egypt’s Prime Minister: “Our People Are Our Greatest Wealth”
Egypt’s Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to fostering sustainable growth, empowering youth, and deepening private sector partnerships during his keynote speech at the Global Outsourcing Industry Summit, organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). The event marked a new milestone for Egypt’s growing outsourcing and technology sector, featuring the signing of 55 Memoranda of Understanding between the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and global and local companies expanding their operations in Egypt.
The summit was attended by Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Eng. Ahmed El-Zaher, CEO of ITIDA, alongside senior executives from leading international firms.
In his address, the Prime Minister highlighted Egypt’s journey toward achieving a comprehensive national vision based on three key pillars: macroeconomic stability, robust infrastructure, and human capital development. He noted that these priorities guide every reform and investment initiative the government undertakes.

> “Despite global economic challenges, Egypt has remained steadfast in its commitment to transparency, stability, and trust. Our top priority has been to build a competitive and predictable business environment that enables the private sector to achieve long-term growth,” Dr. Madbouly said.
He emphasized that Egypt has implemented wide-ranging structural reforms to simplify investment procedures, digitalize tax and customs systems, streamline licensing and land allocation, and maintain fiscal discipline. These efforts, he noted, are supported by the Supreme Council for Investment, chaired by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, ensuring policy flexibility and coordination across sectors.
> “We have invested over half a trillion dollars in roads, ports, airports, energy systems, logistics zones, and digital connectivity — the foundations that allow global businesses to thrive,” he stated, adding that profit repatriation and foreign currency transfers are entirely unrestricted, guaranteeing investors the freedom and flexibility they deserve.
The Prime Minister underscored Egypt’s long-term economic resilience and international credibility, noting that global institutions continue to recognize Egypt’s steady progress. “Egypt is not just a fast-growing market — it is a trusted and reliable destination for sustainable investment,” he affirmed.
Dr. Madbouly also highlighted Egypt’s unprecedented infrastructure investments over the past decade, which have transformed the business landscape and enhanced competitiveness. He drew particular attention to the “Decent Life” (Hayah Karima) national project, which provides modern infrastructure, education, and healthcare to more than 60 million citizens across rural communities, backed by a rapidly expanding fiber-optic network.
Turning to human capital development, the Prime Minister declared:
> “With a population of 110 million and one of the youngest, most dynamic demographics in the world, our people are truly Egypt’s greatest wealth.”

He noted the government’s efforts to expand technical, vocational, and digital training programs, integrate AI and digital freelancing skills into education, and strengthen partnerships between global technology providers and Egyptian universities to align curricula with market needs.
Dr. Madbouly praised the growing role of Egypt’s ICT and outsourcing industry, describing it as a key driver of economic diversification.
> “Over the past 18 months, I have personally visited more than ten global service centers across the country. Meeting talented young Egyptians serving international clients fills me with pride and optimism about the sector’s future,” he said.
He added that visits to ICT companies, innovation incubators, telecommunications schools, and outsourcing centers have become a regular feature of his agenda, reaffirming his confidence in the sector’s potential.
> “Egypt offers stability and partnership. We have a generation of skilled, ambitious young people ready to power your global growth. The entire government believes that partnership with the private sector is the most reliable path to prosperity,” the Prime Minister concluded.
He reaffirmed the government’s ongoing investment in digital infrastructure, commitment to international confidence, and readiness to help outsourcing companies create innovative, high-value solutions for global markets.
