Silicon 21 Group Unveils New Cybersecurity and Regional Expansion Plans at Cairo ICT 2025
Silicon 21 Group announced major expansions in cybersecurity and regional markets during its participation in Cairo ICT 2025, as part of a comprehensive strategy to strengthen its leadership in the Egyptian and regional technology markets.
Tamer Galal, Board Member and Marketing Director at Silicon 21 Group, stated that the company’s participation in this year’s exhibition — held from November 16 to 19 — marks one of the group’s key milestones in 2025. The company aims to showcase its latest digital solutions and innovative technologies designed to serve diverse economic sectors and support Egypt’s national digital transformation strategy and knowledge-based economy.
Galal revealed that Silicon 21’s participation this year features two of its strongest global and local partners — F5 and Ricoh. Ricoh, the Japanese digital printing solutions leader, will present an integrated suite of smart printing systems, including cloud printing, secure printing, and paperless office solutions.
He added that Ricoh’s advanced technologies enable organizations across various sectors to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs by integrating printing processes into their digital infrastructure — fully aligned with digital transformation and environmental sustainability goals.
At the exhibition, Silicon 21 is also showcasing Ricoh’s latest multifunction printers and automated document management platforms, which combine high performance, security, and seamless cloud integration — offering a next-generation printing experience that drives productivity and meets the evolving needs of modern organizations in Egypt and the wider region.
Galal further announced that Silicon 21 is using this year’s Cairo ICT platform to reveal several strategic developments, including the relocation to its new multimillion-dollar headquarters in Fifth Settlement, as well as expansions into African and Gulf markets. The group is also signing new partnerships with leading global vendors in cybersecurity, data protection, and smart infrastructure — reinforcing its commitment to building a secure and sustainable digital future.
He emphasized that cybersecurity has become a central pillar of Silicon 21’s strategy, with the group positioning itself as one of the region’s leading providers of digital protection solutions.
“With the growing adoption of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, the demand for robust cybersecurity solutions is rising rapidly,” Galal said. “It is vital for companies in the market to stay ahead of global trends and deliver flexible, comprehensive protection systems that can counter today’s escalating digital threats.”
Looking ahead, Galal revealed that the group’s two-year plan includes measured expansion into regional markets, particularly across Africa and the Gulf. Silicon 21 already maintains a strong presence in Libya and Sudan and aims to strengthen its footprint in East Africa, where demand for digital solutions is witnessing accelerated growth.
He concluded by reaffirming the company’s long-term vision: “Silicon 21 is committed to sustainable growth and regional expansion while continuing to support Egypt’s digital transformation and technology infrastructure development. We firmly believe that the region’s digital future depends on collaboration between local and global partners. As a leader in this ecosystem, Silicon 21 will continue delivering integrated, secure, and value-driven solutions that empower businesses and contribute to economic growth.”
