Ericsson Egypt Welcomes Swedish Ambassador to Strengthen Strategic Collaboration and Drive Digital Growth
Ericsson Egypt welcomed His Excellency Mr. Dag Juhlin Dannfelt, Ambassador of Sweden to Egypt, for a high-level visit aimed at reinforcing the long-standing strategic collaboration between Sweden and Egypt in the field of telecommunications and technology innovation.
During the visit, Ambassador Dannfelt met with Dalia Merheb, Country Manager and Head of Sales at Ericsson Egypt, alongside senior company leaders. The discussions focused on Ericsson’s strategic priorities, business outlook, and ongoing partnerships that align with Egypt Vision 2030 — particularly in advancing digital transformation and expanding 5G connectivity.
The visit highlighted Ericsson’s deep-rooted commitment to innovation and sustainable growth in Egypt’s telecommunications sector. The Ambassador toured Ericsson Egypt’s offices and engaged with various teams, acknowledging the company’s role as a key enabler in Egypt’s digital infrastructure development and as a longstanding symbol of Sweden–Egypt cooperation.
With a presence in Egypt spanning over 128 years, Ericsson continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the country’s next-generation connectivity ecosystem, supporting operators, partners, and government initiatives to accelerate 5G deployment and foster a more inclusive digital economy.
