ASUS marked a significant milestone in its global technology journey by hosting its inaugural Sovereign AI Summit in Dubai, unveiling an integrated suite of professional services tailored to advance sovereign artificial intelligence solutions. The initiative underscores the company’s commitment to empowering nations with greater autonomy in developing, deploying, and governing AI technologies.

Global Participation and Strategic Dialogue

The event brought together leading international technology players, including NVIDIA, AMD, Micron, Weka, Foxlink, Schneider Electric, and DataDirect Networks. ASUS spearheaded a strategic dialogue on the future of sovereign AI, emphasizing its critical role in strengthening national independence in digital transformation and AI-driven innovation.

In healthcare, ASUS announced collaborations with national research centers to drive precision medicine and advanced research through its in-house developed AI platform. The platform has already demonstrated breakthroughs in genomics analysis, molecular simulation, image characterization, and natural language processing, outperforming conventional CPU-based systems.

Cutting-Edge Technologies on Display

Alongside ASUS, partner companies showcased some of the most advanced technologies shaping the next era of AI:

NVIDIA highlighted its new NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 infrastructure, the NVIDIA Omniverse platform, and advanced AI workloads designed to transform industries across the board.

AMD presented servers powered by its AMD EPYC processors, including RS501A-E12-RS12U, ESC8000A-E13P, and RS720A-E13-RS8G models. These feature up to 192 cores with the latest EPYC 9005 “Zen 5/5c” chips, enabling exceptional acceleration for next-generation data center workloads.

Micron introduced the world’s first PCIe Gen6 solid-state drive, the Micron 9650, engineered with liquid-cooling support for AI training and inference. It also showcased the Micron 6600 ION SSD, boasting up to 245TB capacity for large-scale data centers, along with high-bandwidth multi-rank registered DIMMs for future AI applications.

Weka demonstrated high-performance storage solutions designed to accelerate sovereign AI workflows.

Schneider Electric unveiled sustainable innovations in energy and cooling to support regional AI infrastructure.

Foxlink showcased advanced AI-powered automation systems and reinforced its commitment to innovation with dedicated data centers accelerating robotics development and paving the way for fully automated factories.

DataDirect Networks (DDN) introduced its next-generation DDN Infinia platform, tailored for enterprise-wide AI data management, enabling organizations to manage, accelerate, and scale AI data workflows with flexibility.
