Orange Egypt’s Ayman Amiri Named ‘CTO of the Year 2025’ by Mobile Europe

Mobile Europe, a leading UK-based telecoms magazine, has named Eng. Ayman Amiri, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at Orange Egypt, as CTO of the Year 2025. The award is one of the most prestigious global recognitions in the ICT sector, honoring the most influential technology leaders across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Amiri earned his place on the shortlist in the “Gamechanger” category, which highlights executives driving transformative change in the telecoms industry. Competing against top leaders from major global operators, he stood out for his role in advancing Egypt’s digital infrastructure and delivering next-generation telecom services.
The judging panel commended Amiri’s achievements in fostering innovation and accelerating digital transformation, praising his contribution to improving service quality and positioning Egypt as a competitive telecom market. His leadership, they noted, reflects his impact as a key figure shaping the future of global telecommunications.
Now in its 12th year and sponsored by Amdocs, the CTO of the Year Awards celebrate visionary technology executives whose strategies and innovations redefine the digital landscape and drive the industry forward.
This latest recognition adds to a series of recent milestones for Orange Egypt. The company was recently named “Most Socially Responsible Telecom Operator 2025” by The Global Economics magazine, and it also launched Egypt’s first electricity top-up service via its mobile app, reinforcing its commitment to customer-centric innovation.
