MCIT, NTI Partner with Cisco to Launch First CCIE Mobile Lab in Egypt

In partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI), Cisco has launched the first Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Mobile Lab in Egypt, hosted at its Cairo office.
As part of Cisco’s global Mobile Labs network, the Egypt facility enables specialized engineers from Egypt, the region, and beyond to obtain the CCIE certification without the need to travel.
CCIE is a globally recognized benchmark of technical excellence and one of Cisco’s highest-level certifications. It is awarded to engineers with advanced technical knowledge and extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex networks—a foundational technology in the era of artificial intelligence.
The launch of the lab is aligned with MCIT’s strategy to provide high-quality technical training for youth and to empower them to pursue international certifications, thereby developing a skilled talent pool capable of driving digital transformation in Egypt.
It is worth noting that NTI has partnered with Cisco for more than 20 years. This collaboration has delivered significant outcomes, including qualifying thousands of Egyptian engineers in networking and cybersecurity.
The first phase of assessments will be held from September 21 to October 2. For applications, please visit the following link, https://www.nti.sci.eg/ccie/
