Arab Developers Holding Completes 62% of Newom October Project, Delivers Over 2,300 Units
Arab Developers Holding (EGX: ARAB) announced significant progress in the construction of its flagship “Newom October” project in the 6th of October City, with completion reaching 62% as of the end of July 2025. The company has invested over EGP 12 billion in the development so far.
The announcement came during a media site tour organized by the company, which showcased the ongoing work and updated progress to a delegation of journalists and media representatives.
Spanning 330 feddans, the Newom October project features a mix of residential apartments and villas, commercial outlets, three schools, a social and sports club, hospital, mosque, several swimming pools, and a 6,000-square-meter water fountain.
To date, Arab Developers Holding has delivered 542 villas and 651 apartments. An additional 419 units are scheduled for handover during the third and fourth quarters of 2025, with another 440 units expected to be delivered in the first quarter of 2026.
The development has also seen a rise in occupancy rates, supported by the upcoming launch of community services and educational facilities. Two schools — Globe International School and Notion International School — are set to open in September 2025, with a third school currently under construction. A commercial district is also underway, with operating and management contracts under negotiation.
Dr. Ayman Bin Khalifa, CEO and Managing Director of Arab Developers Holding, stated that the company is accelerating construction efforts to complete handovers ahead of schedule. "Our focus is on enhancing customer satisfaction and boosting operating revenues," he said.
He described Newom October as the company’s largest project in West Cairo in terms of size, unit count, and integrated facilities, reflecting its strategy to develop fully-serviced urban communities aligned with the state's vision for expanding new cities.
Bin Khalifa added that Arab Developers Holding is committed to pursuing strategic locations for its developments, with a focus on comprehensive designs and a variety of services aimed at driving sustainable growth and maximizing investment value.
Since the current management team took over, Arab Developers Holding has delivered more than 9,200 units across its portfolio, including completed and ongoing deliveries, and has plans to hand over 1,172 additional units by the end of this year.
