Vodafone Group’s financial results for the first half of the current fiscal year (April to September) revealed that Vodafone Egypt recorded revenues of approximately EGP 6.6 billion, marking a 3.6% year-on-year increase. The company also posted EGP 2.8 billion in earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) during the same period.

The rise in revenues was primarily attributed to increased demand for mobile data services among Vodafone Egypt’s customers, according to the report.

The group also outlined its broader investment strategy, stating its intention to ramp up total global investments to GBP 7 billion by March 2016, with a significant portion allocated to network enhancements.

During Q2 2013, Vodafone Egypt customers consumed 23.79 million voice minutes, highlighting continued demand for both traditional and data-driven communication services.

As of the reporting period, Vodafone Egypt's subscriber base stood at 41.3 million users, with 91% of customers relying on prepaid plans.
