Samsung Electronics today unveiled its latest mid-range smartphones — the Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G — marking a significant leap forward for the Galaxy A series by introducing powerful AI features, enhanced durability, and extended software support.

For the first time, Samsung is bringing its Awesome Intelligence suite of AI-powered features — previously exclusive to flagship models — to the Galaxy A series, making advanced mobile intelligence more accessible to a wider audience.

Smarter Features, Stronger Security

All three devices come preloaded with One UI 7 on Android 15, offering smarter, more intuitive features alongside enhanced privacy and security. Powered by Samsung Knox Vault, the new Galaxy A lineup delivers a fortified protection layer, while tools like Auto Blocker and Theft Detection offer holistic defense against digital threats.

Among the standout AI features is Circle to Search, which allows users to instantly search for content, identify music, or interact with recognized information like phone numbers and emails — all with a simple gesture. The enhanced feature now supports real-time song identification across apps and surroundings.

Creative Tools and Camera Enhancements

Samsung also brings advanced creator tools to the A series, including a 50MP triple-camera system and intelligent visual editing features. The Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G introduce HDR selfie video and Nightography enhancements, while the A56 5G features the exclusive Best Face tool — which lets users capture the perfect group shot by combining the best expressions from a motion photo.

All three models include Object Eraser and Custom Filters, making it easier than ever to retouch photos and personalize image styles.

Long-Term Support and Flagship Durability

Samsung reaffirmed its commitment to longevity by offering six generations of Android OS and One UI updates, along with six years of security updates, on the new A series. These updates aim to ensure reliable performance and a longer device lifecycle.

In terms of durability, all three devices are rated IP67 for dust and water resistance and protected with advanced Corning® Glass. The lineup also features a 5,000mAh battery, while the A56 5G and A36 5G support 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0.

Immersive Displays and Enhanced Performance

The Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G both feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with Vision Booster technology and 120Hz refresh rates. A larger vapor chamber ensures thermal efficiency, while the devices run on the Exynos 1580 (A56 5G) and Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 (A36 5G) chipsets.
