MCIT Opens Applications for DEMI Summer Program 2025
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has officially opened applications for the 2025 edition of the Digital Egypt Marvels Initiative (DEMI) Summer Program, designed to nurture digital skills among high-achieving young students across Egypt.
Targeting students enrolled in Grades Four through Six during the 2024/2025 academic year, the program offers a unique opportunity to enhance digital literacy and prepare participants for future phases of the DEMI and Digital Egypt Cubs Initiative (DECI). Applicants must meet DEMI eligibility criteria to be considered.
Set to launch in July and continue for two months, the Summer Program includes three weekly online lectures, a hands-on practical session at the end of each month, and regular assessments to track progress. The program aims to equip students with the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to advance to the next DEMI cohort beginning in October. Notably, Grade Six participants will also be eligible to join Level 1 of DECI directly.
Required Documents for Application:
A copy of the student’s birth certificate
An official school enrollment letter for the 2024/2025 academic year
A copy of the parent’s valid National ID
An original signed consent form (available on the DEMI website)
Important Note: Students already enrolled in DEMI for the 2024/2025 academic year are not eligible to apply.
The application deadline is June 15, 2025.
