Xiaomi is now bringing a new HyperOS 2.2 software update that fixes certain issues like camera crashing and home screen reloading problems. Some flagship phones have been facing these issues for a while, but the company has fixed them.

The Chinese OEM releases regular security patches, improvement updates, and feature firmware for its devices. While these rollouts aim to boost the user experience of handsets, they often lead to some anonymous bugs or issues in the device system.

As a result, users face lagging, overheating, app freezing, and other issues. But Xiaomi is bringing fixes to some of these issues, like camera crashing and home screen reloading issues, via a new HyperOS 2.2 software update.

Xiaomi 14 users have been facing the reloading issue with the home screen in certain situations. Users reported the problem after installing the recent HyperOS 2.2 beta build. Though the company has fixed the issue entirely in the latest version.

Users with Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 14/Pro reported that the camera used to crash in some conditions. A similar issue appeared for the Redmi K80 users in the Professional mode camera. But the firm has fixed these issues and boosted camera stability with the new HyperOS 2.2 firmware.

Some Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro users running HyperOS 2.0.200.23 version faced a silent Xiao AI companion mode issue. Though the latest build fixes the problem and enables full voice assistant capabilities.

In case you have not received the new fixes update, wait patiently as the company is rolling out the firmware in batches, and it may take some time to reach all the eligible units.
