ITIDA, Flat6Labs Launch First Edition of ‘Invest IT’ to Accelerate Tech Startups, Boost Investment Readiness
The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has launched the first edition of the Invest IT program, implemented in partnership with Flat6Labs, the MENA region's leading seed and early-stage venture capital firm.
As an innovative investment-readiness support program, Invest IT is designed to empower ICT-enabled startups at the seed or pre-Series A stages from various governorates, helping them successfully secure funding deals, expand operations, and drive national economic growth.
The first edition includes 15 startups divided into two categories based on their development and investment stages. The seed-stage group features The WhiteGuard, Dragify, HNDL, Turuq, Skoolix, Kennah, Atoms AI, and Photon Smart. The pre-Series A category includes Valify, Mrkoon, Qubefyn, Venu, Amanleek, LyRise, and Hoopoe Digital. These startups are building tech solutions across various sectors—such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), FinTech, digital healthcare, and e-commerce—reflecting the growing diversity and maturity of Egypt’s innovation ecosystem.
During the launch event, the startups presented their ideas, innovative products, and the digital, tech-driven solutions they are developing. The event also served as a space for networking, sharing insights and expertise, and exploring potential collaborations among the participating startups.
It is worth highlighting that Invest IT provides comprehensive technical and administrative support to empower Egyptian startups, accelerate their growth, and prepare them for successful future investments. The program is conducted in two phases: the Preparation Phase, which provides startups with intensive training, workshops, personalized mentorship, and access to essential tools and resources to enhance their investment readiness; and the Investor Engagement Phase, which connects startups with potential investors.
The launch of Invest IT marks an important step in ITIDA’s continued efforts to support tech startups in Egypt, especially those preparing to attract investment. It reflects the Agency’s commitment to fostering a growth-friendly environment that encourages innovation, helps startups scale and compete regionally and globally, and offers the support needed to overcome challenges and contribute to the growth of the digital economy.
