Egypt Post Unveils Digital Postal and Financial Service Developments During PM”s Cairo ICT 2026 Visit

Egypt Post is advancing its digital transformation agenda through new postal and financial solutions showcased during Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly's visit to its exhibition pavilion at Cairo ICT 2026.

Dalia El-Baz, Chairperson of Egypt Post, briefed the prime minister and Raafat Hindi, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, on the organization's latest projects and service developments, focusing on digital correspondence, mobile financial services, and electronic payments.

The presentation highlighted Baredy, a new platform for official digital communications, as well as the expanded capabilities of Easy Pay and the Visa Plus payment solution.

Baredy Digitizes Official Mail and Document Exchange

Baredy represents a new digital approach to official correspondence, offering an electronic alternative to registered postal mail and registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt.

Through the service, users can exchange official documents electronically while benefiting from identity verification for both senders and recipients.

The platform also records the exact dates and times of sending and receiving correspondence and provides digital delivery evidence, helping protect documents and attachments against unauthorized changes.

The service is designed to simplify administrative processes, reduce paper-based procedures, and preserve the legal validity of official communications for individuals, businesses, and government entities.

Easy Pay Brings More Financial Functions to Mobile Users

Egypt Post also presented the latest enhancements to its Easy Pay application, which provides customers with access to various financial services directly through their smartphones.

Available features include balance and account statement monitoring, card management, money transfers, and bill and payment settlement.

The application is intended to make financial transactions more accessible and reduce the need for customers to visit post office branches to complete routine operations.

Visa Plus Broadens Digital Payment Options

Another solution featured during the visit was Visa Plus, which supports the expansion of Egypt Post's electronic payment ecosystem.

The service contributes to the organization's efforts to provide flexible and secure digital payment options, complementing its broader strategy to expand access to modern financial services.

Moving Beyond Traditional Postal Operations

The latest developments highlight Egypt Post's transition toward a broader integrated service model covering postal operations, government services, financial solutions, logistics, and technology.

The organization is building on its extensive branch network and technological infrastructure to improve service accessibility, bringing a wider range of services closer to citizens while helping reduce transaction time and costs.

Egypt Post Reinforces Its Digital and Financial Strategy

El-Baz emphasized that Egypt Post continues to implement a strategy aimed at upgrading its service infrastructure and expanding its digital, financial, and logistics offerings.

The organization is leveraging its workforce, technological capabilities, and nationwide presence to contribute to Egypt's digital transformation and financial inclusion objectives.

These efforts are intended to deliver more accessible, efficient, and secure services while adapting to the changing needs of individuals and institutions.
