Samsung Speeds Up One UI 9.5 Testing With Beta Release Tipped for Early November
Samsung appears to be accelerating development of One UI 9.5, with a growing number of signs pointing to a possible public beta launch during the first week of November.
The company has not officially announced a release date, but recent software activity and changes to its Samsung Members app suggest preparations for the next beta program may be advancing.
Samsung Members Redesign Fuels Launch Expectations
Samsung Members plays a central role in the company’s beta programs, allowing eligible Galaxy owners to register and test upcoming versions of One UI.
Recent design changes affecting beta registration features have raised expectations that enrollment for One UI 9.5 could open soon.
Another clue emerged during October when a reference to One UI 9.5 appeared in an application changelog on the Galaxy Store.
Earlier Start for One UI 9.5 Development
The development timeline also suggests Samsung is moving more quickly this year.
Firmware associated with the Galaxy S26 lineup was detected on Samsung’s servers on August 10, considerably earlier in the development cycle than the first One UI 8.5 builds for the Galaxy S25 series, which appeared in mid-September 2025.
The previous One UI 8.5 public beta began on December 8. A One UI 9.5 beta in the first week of November would therefore represent an earlier start by roughly one month.
Galaxy S26 Likely to Get First Access
Samsung is expected to prioritize the Galaxy S26 lineup when the beta becomes available, continuing its practice of bringing major One UI test releases to its newest flagship phones first.
Whether foldable Galaxy models will participate from the beginning remains uncertain.
Samsung previously included the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 alongside the Galaxy S25 series in the One UI 8.5 beta program.
Until Samsung publishes an official schedule, however, the early-November timeframe remains an expectation rather than a confirmed launch date.
