UAE-Based ”Ayan” Secures AED 2.2 Million in Pre-Seed Funding for Global Expansion

The region's artificial intelligence sector has taken a significant step toward international growth as Ayan, a UAE-based startup specializing in agentic AI, successfully closed a AED 2.2 million Pre-Seed funding round. Supported by strategic global angel investors, the funding aims to accelerate the company’s expansion beyond the MENA region.

Bridging the Gap Between AI Recommendations and Points of Sale

Ayan focuses on solving a key modern challenge in the buyer journey: the disconnect between tools that measure brand visibility in AI conversations and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. While traditional tracking tools only monitor what appears on user screens, and CRM systems lack insight into the AI-generated responses consumers receive prior to reaching points of sale, Ayan connects these data points to measure their direct impact on consumer purchasing behavior.

How the Platform Works & Brand Identity Analytics

The platform processes millions of data points on how AI systems portray brands and products, comparing these outputs against each brand’s defined marketing identity. Based on these insights, Ayan enables companies to take actionable steps, including:

Optimizing product pages and marketing campaigns prior to launch.

Equipping sales advisors with accurate information to handle customer queries.

Utilizing customer inquiries during sales interactions to refine future AI visibility strategies.

International Reach & Global Leadership Expertise

Ayan currently serves over 50 brands across the Middle East, Europe, and North America. The company is led by Founder and CEO Pablo Charon, alongside Co-Founder and Head of Growth Chakib Almassoudi.

To support its growth strategy, the company strengthened its governance structure by appointing:

Vincent Carvalho (Head of Growth and M&A at IFS Group) as a founding Board Member.

Kristian Pedersen (CEO of Cegid Group) as a Strategic Advisor.

Supportive Investment Climate & Ambitious Government Vision

This milestone comes amid a funding surge in the region. According to MAGNiTT data, AI and AI-driven startups in the MENA region raised $678 million in H1 2026 (an 81% year-on-year increase), with the UAE capturing 93% of the total capital.

This growth aligns with the UAE government's strategic direction, following the Cabinet's approval in April 2026 of a plan to power half of government services using agentic AI within two years, supporting the goals of the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031
