ITIDA Organizes Seminar on ”Agentic AI Engineering” at Sultan Hussein Kamel Palace

The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), an affiliate of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), is organizing a new technical seminar as part of its TIECnovation series. Titled "Agentic AI Engineering: From LLMs to Autonomous Agents," the event will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at the Creativa Innovation Hub in Sultan Hussein Kamel Palace, under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).

Schedule and Main Speaker

The seminar will run from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and will be delivered by Eng. Ahmed Heikal, Co-Founder and CTO of Daturial. Eng. Heikal is a specialist in Generative AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and Agentic AI, with over ten years of academic and training experience.

Key Topics and Practical Applications

The session highlights the shift from Large Language Models (LLMs) toward building autonomous AI agents (Agentic AI) capable of decision-making and interacting with digital systems. Key topics include:

Integration Techniques: Combining Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), memory systems, and tool calling.

Agentic Workflows: Developing applications capable of logical reasoning and executing tasks across external systems.

Demonstrations: Presenting practical engineering methods for designing autonomous systems and overcoming development hurdles.

Technical Challenges and Risks

The seminar will address major risks associated with AI applications, notably AI Hallucinations—where systems produce inaccurate information—alongside security vulnerabilities and standards for ensuring system reliability and performance stability
