Skoda claimed the crown as the top-licensed European car brand in the Egyptian market during last September, successfully registering 655 vehicles and outperforming its closest competitor by a slim margin of just 13 cars.
Strong Competition for the Top Three Spots
According to the report issued by the Egyptian Automotive Compulsory Insurance Pool, the top tier witnessed intense competition:
Second Place: Mercedes secured 642 cars.
Third Place: Volkswagen came in with 625 units.
Fourth Place: Cupra captured 549 vehicles.
Rankings of Other Prominent European Brands
Competition continued among other global brands for market share during the same period:
Fifth Place: Fiat with 528 cars.
Sixth Place: Opel with a total of 513 units.
Seventh Place: Renault with 467 vehicles.
Eighth Place: Seat with 455 cars.
Ninth Place: Citroen with 451 units.
Tenth Place: Peugeot registering 425 vehicles.
Bottom of the List and Luxury Performance
The final spots included the following brands:
Eleventh Place: BMW with a total of 306 cars.
Twelfth Place: Audi with 168 units.
Last Place: Porsche, which rounded out the list with 53 licensed cars.

Total registrations recorded for the 13 European brands reached approximately 5,837 vehicles during September, reflecting market vibrancy and close figures among major competing companies.
