ASUS has announced the global launch of its ProArt P16 and ProArt P14 laptops, targeting creators, designers and AI developers seeking local AI computing in portable devices. The laptops are set to reach Saudi Arabia in October 2026, with prices starting at SAR 13,999.

The new models combine professional computing capabilities with portable designs, enabling users to run AI models directly on their devices. This approach can reduce reliance on cloud services for certain workloads while improving privacy and responsiveness.

RTX Spark Brings AI Workloads On-Device

The laptops feature the RTX Spark architecture, bringing together an NVIDIA Grace processor, unified memory and NVIDIA Blackwell RTX graphics processing to support demanding local AI workloads.

The platform is designed for tasks ranging from image generation and language models to AI-assisted design and video editing. Running models locally gives users greater control over sensitive files and reduces the need to transfer data to external servers.

Cloud computing remains an option, however, allowing users to combine on-device processing with cloud resources when workloads require additional computing power or broader collaboration.

ASUS also highlights integration with tools including Hermes Agent, ComfyUI and MuseTree, aiming to incorporate AI into everyday creative workflows. The effectiveness of this software integration will be a key factor in determining how much practical value users gain from the hardware.

Portable Designs and Professional OLED Displays

The ProArt P16 measures 12.9mm thick and weighs 1.77kg, while the ProArt P14 is 13.9mm thick and weighs 1.48kg. Battery capacities reach 99Wh for the P16 and 90Wh for the P14, supporting users who work across different locations.

Both models feature ASUS Lumina Pro OLED displays, with peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits and a variable refresh rate of 120Hz.

The P16 supports resolutions of up to 4K and NVIDIA G-SYNC, while the P14 offers resolution of up to 3K. These displays are designed to support video editing, color grading, graphics work and other visually demanding tasks.

The larger P16 caters to users who need more screen space, while the lighter P14 prioritizes portability without leaving the professional laptop segment.

Saudi Arabia Availability and Pricing

Global pre-orders began on October 8, 2026, with the first shipment scheduled to arrive in Saudi Arabia on October 16. Prices start at SAR 13,999.

The pricing places both laptops in the premium segment, positioning them for professionals who view computing hardware as a long-term investment in their creative and development workflows.

Their success will ultimately depend on whether local AI capabilities, software integration and portability translate into measurable productivity gains for creators and developers balancing performance, privacy and mobility.
