Global Auto Group, the official importer of BMW in Egypt, has introduced the new BMW 520i Executive to its 5 Series lineup. This release aims to meet the expectations of luxury sedan enthusiasts by combining sporty design and advanced digital technologies with an fuel-efficient engine that delivers high value for money in the local market.

Performance and Engine: Fuel Efficiency and Mild-Hybrid Tech

Engine: 1.6-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine.

Power and Torque: Generates 190 hp and 310 Nm of maximum torque.

Transmission: 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission with steering-wheel paddle shifters.

Performance: Accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 230 km/h.

Fuel Consumption: Averages 7 liters per 100 km, supported by a 48V Mild Hybrid system and an Automatic Start/Stop function.

Exterior Design and Dimensions

The car retains the signature visual identity of the 5 Series, featuring aluminum accents on the window surrounds, Kidney Grille, and rear bumper.

Wheels and Mirrors: Newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels, power-folding side mirrors with auto-dimming for the driver's side.

Glass and Comfort: Sun protection glass (rear and side rear) and Comfort Access keyless entry system.

Dimensions: Overall length of 5,060 mm, width of 1,900 mm, height of 1,515 mm, a wheelbase of 2,995 mm, and a trunk capacity of 520 liters.

Interior Cabin and Technology

The interior features the BMW Curved Display, combining:

A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

A 14.9-inch central touchscreen for infotainment and navigation.

The cabin offers front sports seats with power adjustment and lumbar support, upholstered in Veganza leather available in White, Brown, or Black. Additional amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, a wireless phone charger, BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant (IPA), and 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats.

Safety and Security Systems

The BMW 520i Executive comes packed with driver assistance systems under the Active Guard package:

Lane Departure Warning with steering return assistance (LDW).
