Domestic Gold Rates in Egypt
Retail gold prices across Egypt vary depending on merchant workmanship markups and regional location. According to the pricing platform "iSagha," indicative market averages—excluding workmanship fees—stood as follows:
24-Karat Gold: Quoted at EGP 7,183 per gram for selling and EGP 7,126 for buying.
21-Karat Gold: The most traded standard in the domestic market stood at EGP 6,285 per gram for selling and EGP 6,235 for buying.
18-Karat Gold: Recorded EGP 5,387 per gram for selling and EGP 5,344 for buying.
Gold Pound (8 grams of 21K): Reached EGP 50,280 for selling and EGP 49,880 for buying.
