Gold prices in Egypt recorded a relative decline in early trading on Sunday, September 6, 2026, compared to closing levels at the end of last week.

Globally, gold posted slight weekly losses under pressure from U.S. jobs data, which reinforced market expectations that the Federal Reserve could hike interest rates in September, curbing the appeal of the non-yielding precious metal.
