Exchange rate movements showed that the greenback climbed in 22 banks, held steady in 3 banks, and registered a marginal decline in just 1 bank, with percentage increases varying across institutions.
Key Exchange Rate Extremes and Market Highlights
Highest Rates in the Market: First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) and Société Arabe Internationale de Banque (saib) recorded the highest USD exchange rates at EGP 50.45 for buying and EGP 50.55 for selling, marking an increase of roughly 0.598% and 0.538%, respectively.
Lowest Rates in the Market: Arab International Bank (AIB) quoted the lowest rates among major institutions at EGP 50.15 for buying and EGP 50.25 for selling (unchanged from yesterday).
Sole Declining Bank: Egyptian Arab Land Bank (EALB) was the only bank where the dollar traded lower, falling by 0.14% to EGP 50.10 for buying and EGP 50.20 for selling.
Stable Rates: Egyptian Gulf Bank (EG Bank) and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) kept prices unchanged at EGP 50.17 for buying and EGP 50.27 for selling.
