Schneider Electric Announces New Dates for MEA Innovation Summit 2026 in Abu Dhabi

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy technology, has announced the new dates for its Middle East and Africa (MEA) Innovation Summit 2026. Scheduled for September 15 and 16, 2026, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) in the UAE capital, the summit will be held under the theme, "Advancing Energy Technology to Empower Intelligence and Enhance Resilience."

The summit will convene a premier group of global energy and technology leaders, alongside government officials, to explore strategies for accelerating the regional transition toward smarter and more resilient energy ecosystems.

This event comes at a critical time when the MEA region is experiencing surging energy demand, driven by the rapid proliferation of data centers, the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence (AI), and ambitious national digital transformation and infrastructure development agendas.

Energy at the Core of Digital Transformation

Walid Sheta, President of Schneider Electric MEA, stated that energy has become the foundational pillar for realizing the region's ambitions—from AI adoption and digital infrastructure expansion to the execution of national visions that are driving qualitative shifts across regional economies.

Sheta noted that these ambitions place increasing demands on supporting energy systems, making it imperative to implement energy infrastructure that is intrinsically smart and resilient from the initial design phases.

"The 2026 Innovation Summit represents a platform that brings together regional leaders, partners, and technology pioneers to transform energy challenges into practical engineering solutions and contribute to shaping the next phase of our industry," Sheta explained.

Electrification and Digitization in Focus

The 2026 Innovation Summit will heavily focus on the roles of electrification, automation, and digitization. When applied strategically and at scale, these elements are crucial for building highly robust and reliable interconnected energy systems.

Through live technical demonstrations, strategic dialogues, and real-world case studies, attendees will have the opportunity to explore resilience from a practical standpoint—viewing it as an actionable engineering outcome rather than a mere theoretical concept.
