The National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority announces the re-availation of the ”My Numbers” service through the My NTRA application
The National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority announced the re-availability of the "My Numbers" service through the My NTRA application, for inquiring about mobile phone numbers registered in the user's name, after implementing a temporary technical solution that allowed the service to return to work normally, until the completion of the technical and organizational updates work being implemented.
The agency explained that the temporary solution allows users to benefit from the service during the period of completion of the development work, which aims to raise the levels of protection and security, and strengthen the controls associated with verifying the user's identity, to ensure the preservation of the privacy of citizens and the protection of their personal data.
The Authority confirmed that it will continue to work to complete the final updates of the service in accordance with the highest standards of information security and personal data protection, to ensure the availability of a secure and reliable digital service that achieves ease of use and maintains the privacy of citizens.
It is worth mentioning that the Authority had temporarily suspended the inquiry service for mobile phone lines registered in the user's name, to carry out some organizational and technical updates aimed at enhancing the protection of citizens' privacy and raising the level of service security.
