Saudi Arabia”s Venture House Ventures Invests $500,000 in Five Tech Startups from ”Itlaq” Accelerator

Venture House Ventures, the investment arm of Saudi Arabia-based Venture House, has announced a $500,000 investment in five early-stage tech startups. This funding follows the startups' graduation from the fifth cohort of the "Itlaq" accelerator program, marking a strategic move to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem and foster the growth of promising Saudi enterprises.

Under the terms of the investment, each startup secured $100,000 through a Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE). This capital injection will provide the necessary financial backing for the companies to develop their products, accelerate business growth, and lay the groundwork for subsequent funding rounds.

Five Startups Across AI, FinTech, and Digital Health

The beneficiaries of this investment round span diverse technological sectors, leveraging innovation to address market needs. The selected startups are:

HANDL HUB: An AI-powered platform that transforms e-commerce store data into actionable analytics and recommendations, enabling businesses to make highly efficient decisions.

STOQA: A platform dedicated to converting financial market data into strategic insights and investment advisory for both retail and professional investors.

OFINTECH: An AI-backed open banking platform that integrates bank accounts with corporate accounting systems to enhance financial management and operational transparency.

SIGHTI: An AI solution that upgrades traditional surveillance cameras into smart systems, providing advanced operational analytics.

21 DOCTORS: An AI-driven platform that supports clinics, physicians, and healthcare providers in building a robust digital presence and expanding their practices.

Bahr Al-Harbi, Founder and CEO of Venture House and General Partner at Venture House Ventures, highlighted that the Kingdom is witnessing the rapid emergence of a new generation of tech entrepreneurs. However, he noted that securing early-stage funding remains one of the most prominent challenges facing startups today.

The 'Itlaq' Accelerator's Role

Al-Harbi explained that the "Itlaq" accelerator is dedicated to discovering and qualifying high-potential companies, while the Venture House Ventures fund steps in to provide the essential capital needed to scale within the Kingdom and expand into regional and global markets.

Highlighting the program's competitive nature, he pointed out that over 1,400 startups applied to join the fifth cohort of the "Itlaq" accelerator. The program equips participants with seed funding, specialized acceleration tracks, hands-on mentorship, and vital support in regulatory compliance and market entry. Furthermore, it offers digital incentives and directly connects startups with potential investors.

Since its inception, the program has successfully completed five cohorts, supported over 100 entrepreneurs, and attracted a user base of more than 1,200 to its educational platform.

Boosting the Innovation Ecosystem and Vision 2030

These investments are a core component of broader efforts to strengthen the startup ecosystem in Saudi Arabia. They champion innovation and entrepreneurship in direct alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which heavily emphasizes expanding the digital economy, empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and maximizing the technology sector's contribution to national economic growth.

Moreover, this initiative reflects a growing appetite among investors to broaden the base of tech companies capable of delivering cutting-edge solutions across artificial intelligence, financial technology, healthcare, and digital commerce.
