Banqué Misr Grants Andalucia Maadi Hospital an 8-Year Credit Facility Worth EGP 300M and $6.5M
Banqué Misr, one of Egypt’s leading financial institutions, has officially signed a comprehensive financing agreement with Andalucia Health Group to support the expansion of Andalucia Maadi Hospital. The dual-currency facility, totaling EGP 300 million and $6.5 million USD, features an 8-year repayment term. The signing ceremony was led by Mr. Hisham Okasha, CEO of Banqué Misr, and Dr. Hazem Darwish Zagzoug, CEO and Managing Director of Andalucia Health Group.
The funding is earmarked for construction and medical equipment upgrades, adding 70 beds to the hospital’s capacity to meet the rising demand for specialized healthcare services. Hisham Okasha emphasized the bank’s commitment to sectors with a direct social impact, stating that supporting major medical institutions enhances operational efficiency and elevates the quality of healthcare for citizens. This partnership reinforces Banqué Misr’s role as a primary engine for developmental and investment projects in Egypt.
