Orascom Development’s O West Signs Exclusive Sponsorship Agreement with Squash Champion Hania El Hammamy Through LA 2028 Olympics
O West, the flagship development by Orascom Development, has announced the signing of an exclusive sponsorship agreement with Egyptian squash champion and professional player Hania El Hammamy.
Under the three-year agreement, O West will serve as El Hammamy’s exclusive sports and marketing sponsor within the real estate development sector through the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, which will mark the first-ever inclusion of squash as an Olympic sport.
The partnership reflects Orascom Development’s ongoing commitment to supporting Egyptian squash and promoting sports excellence on the international stage. Through its destinations and sports facilities, the company has played a key role in hosting major squash tournaments, including the CIB Squash Open at O West Sports Club in 2024 and 2025, as well as the long-running Gouna Squash Open, hosted in El Gouna for more than 15 years.
The sponsorship aligns with O West’s broader strategy to associate its brand with values such as excellence, ambition, and achievement by partnering with internationally recognized Egyptian athletes.
