Orange Egypt Launches Specialized Autism Support Center in Sohag to Serve Upper Egypt’s Youth
Orange Egypt, in collaboration with the Orange Foundation and the SETI Center (Caritas Egypt), has officially inaugurated a state-of-the-art center in Sohag dedicated to supporting children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This strategic move aims to decentralize specialized healthcare, providing essential services to underserved communities in Southern Egypt, including the governorates of Qena and Aswan.
The center is projected to benefit approximately 2,000 children and teenagers (ages 2 to 18) through direct interventions and partnerships with local NGOs. Beyond basic care, the facility features advanced Sensory Integration Rooms, designed to help children navigate sensory processing challenges—a critical component in modern ASD therapy. By fostering social inclusion and professional training, Orange Egypt continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainable community development and digital inclusion across the nation.
