FutureTECH by Raya and XPENG Conclude Egypt’s First EV-Focused Accelerator Program
FutureTECH by Raya, the innovation arm of Raya Holding, has successfully concluded its inaugural accelerator program dedicated to the Electric Vehicle (EV) and smart mobility sector. In partnership with Raya Auto (the exclusive agent for XPENG in Egypt), GIZ, and Entlaq, the program accelerated six promising startups selected from over 30 applicants. Over four months, these startups—each possessing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP)—underwent intensive training to refine their business models and validate their tech solutions for market readiness.
The program provided over 60 hours of mentorship, featuring specialized technical sessions led by EV experts from Germany. Participants gained rare operational insights through field visits to Raya Auto’s manufacturing facilities and XPENG’s service centers. The journey culminated in a high-stakes Demo Day, where founders presented their innovations to an elite group of investors and corporate leaders, signaling a new era for homegrown EV technologies in the Egyptian market.
