QNB Egypt and Cairo University Inaugurate AI-Powered Computer Vision Lab at Faculty of Dentistry
. In a significant boost to Egypt’s digital health landscape, QNB Egypt and Cairo University have officially opened the "DentCai" AI Lab at the Faculty of Dentistry. The inauguration was attended by Cairo University President Dr. Mohamed Samy Abdel Sadiq and QNB Egypt CEO Mohamed Bedair, marking a milestone in cross-sector collaboration between the banking and academic industries.
The lab is designed to serve as a high-tech hub for applying Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence in dental diagnostics and research. By providing researchers with an integrated environment to develop smart models and analyze medical data, the facility aims to enhance the accuracy of dental treatments and elevate the quality of healthcare education in Egypt. President Abdel Sadiq praised QNB Egypt’s role in supporting national digital transformation goals, emphasizing that the lab will prepare a new generation of tech-savvy dental professionals.
