Flydubai Resumes Direct Flights from Dubai to Alexandria and Cairo’s Sphinx Airport from March 10

Flydubai will resume its direct operations from Dubai International Airport to Alexandria and Cairo’s Sphinx International Airport starting Tuesday, March 10, in both directions, according to the airline’s daily flight schedules.

The carrier will initially operate a limited number of daily flights to the two airports as part of a gradual restoration of its flight schedule. Operations will remain subject to updates regarding airspace conditions across the region.

According to the schedule, the first flight, FZ191, will depart Dubai for Cairo on Tuesday at 9:25 p.m. Dubai time and arrive in Cairo at 11:40 p.m. local time. The return flight to Dubai, numbered FZ192, will depart daily from Cairo at 12:40 a.m. Cairo time.

Flydubai will also operate its first flight to Alexandria on the same day, departing Dubai at 7:15 p.m. Dubai time under flight number FZ175. Return flights from Alexandria to Dubai will continue to operate on a daily basis.

The airline advised all passengers to check the status of their flights on its official website before heading to the airport, due to ongoing schedule updates in line with operational airspace requirements.

Meanwhile, EgyptAir announced on Sunday the resumption of its daily flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah airports starting Monday, March 9. The move reflects a gradual restoration of key air travel routes between Egypt and the UAE, as well as improving operational stability for airports and airlines in the region.
