Tamweely Achieves ISO 14001 Certification, Reinforcing Commitment to Sustainability and Occupational Safety

In this context, Hassan Abdel Latif, Head of Governance and Sustainability at Tamweely, stated that obtaining the ISO 14001 certification marks an important milestone in the company’s strategy to enhance corporate sustainability. He highlighted that the department has integrated environmental standards into governance and risk management policies, established clear performance indicators to reduce environmental footprint, and optimized energy and resource consumption, ensuring continuous compliance and long-term sustainable value creation.

Yasser Al-Wahsh, Senior Manager of Occupational Health and Safety, emphasized that the development of the company’s safety and health system was guided by a proactive approach. This includes thorough risk assessments across all branches and departments, alongside clear mechanisms for reporting and immediate response, fostering a sustainable preventive culture aligned with international best practices.

Tamweely’s achievement of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, in addition to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001, reflects a comprehensive institutional approach, confirming the company’s commitment to applying international standards as a practical framework. This enhances management quality, strengthens a culture of continuous improvement, and supports corporate sustainability and responsibility across all activities.

Founded in 2017, Tamweely for Financial Services is a non-banking financial institution with an issued and paid capital of EGP 225 million. The company holds license No. 6 for microfinance, a license for micro-leasing activities, registration with the Financial Leasing Register under No. 305 of 2023, and license No. 5 for financing small and medium enterprises.
