Technotime Concludes Excellence Awards 2025 by Honoring Technology and Digital Economy Impact Makers
The Technotime platform concluded the activities of the Technotime Excellence Awards 2025 in a special evening that brought together a group of leaders in the technology, communications, economy, investment and media sectors, along with representatives of major national and international companies and institutions, in a celebration that focused on the essence of true excellence. The event witnessed a high-level presence of leaders in the ICT, technology and digital economy sectors, along with representatives of major companies and institutions, in a ceremony dedicated to honoring models that succeeded in turning ideas into solutions, and projects into real value on the ground.
Telecommunications companies in the lead
Technotime began the honoring paragraphs in the telecommunications sector, as the main pillar of any modern digital economy, the structure on which smart services are based, innovation, and connecting citizens with opportunities.
Vodafone Egypt won two prizes during the ceremony, in a clear confirmation of the multiplicity of axes of influence that the company succeeded in achieving.
Vodafone received the Leadership Award in Digital Infrastructure and the widest coverage of 5G networks in Egypt, and received the award by Mr. Ayman Jaber, Head of Network Development at Vodafone Egypt.
The company also received the Award for Leadership in Corporate Communication and the Digital Narrative Industry with Social Impact, and was received by Ms. May Yassin, Head of External Communications and Sustainability Business at Vodafone Egypt.
In the same context, Technotim honored Orange Egypt, which won the Best Strategic Partner Award to support digital transformation in the government and private sectors, in recognition of its role in implementing digital projects and building strategic partnerships that have contributed to raising the efficiency of services and accelerating digital transformation. The award was received by Mohamed Azmi, Director of Smart Cities at Orange Egypt.
State institutions and building the digital system
The honors extended to include the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, in recognition of its organizational role in achieving a balance between development and user protection and ensuring market stability. The award was received by Major General Mohammed Al-Sagalabi, Head of the Authority's Executive Department of Media.
The Institute of Information Technology (ITI) was also honored for its pivotal role in the preparation of digital competencies and capacity building. The honor was received by Eng. Ghada Osama, Director of Corporate Development at the Institute, in addition to honoring the Chamber of Information and Communication Technology Industry. The award was received by Engineer Khaled Ibrahim, President of the Chamber.
The private sector and solutions that touch people's lives
The honors included SMART for its pivotal role in operating the smart card system and serving millions of citizens, and the award was received by Engineer Tariq Melch, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Smart Group.
ISK was also honored for its advanced services in the field of cybersecurity, and the award was received by Dr. Baha Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company.
Raya Trading and Distribution Company was honored for its role in developing the electronics distribution system and building smart channels that link technology to the market and the consumer. The award was received by Engineer Bassem Mujahid, CEO of the company.
Financial Technology and Insurance
In honoring the impact makers in the financial technology system, Technotime honored the eFinance Group for Financial and Digital Investments, in recognition of its pioneering role in accelerating investment in service financial technology platforms, and turning it into a major engine of digital platforms that serve the citizen directly.
This honor came in recognition of eFinance's contributions to simplifying daily transactions, expanding the scope of digital services, and supporting financial inclusion, which is directly reflected in the quality of public and private services.
The award will be received by Mr. Islam Al-Jamal, Vice President of Marketing at E-Finance Group.
Technotime also honored Tasa Company for its role in redefining digital consumer finance, and the award was received by Eng. Ahmed Al-Shanwani, CEO of the company.
Within the framework of honoring the models that contributed to the development of the digital payments system, Technotime honored the guarantor company, in recognition of its influential role in simplifying electronic payment services and turning them into an easy, fast and available experience for wide segments of users.
This honor came in recognition of the contribution of "Guaran" in supporting financial inclusion, facilitating daily transactions, and building a more efficient and safe digital payments system, to serve the citizen and support the transition towards a cashless economy.

In the insurance sector, Sarwa Insurance Company received recognition for its advanced digital solutions and insurance experience, and the award was received by Eng. Ahmed Khalifa, CEO of the company.
Innovation, infrastructure and responsible technology
TECHNOTIME HONORED HUAWEI, IN RECOGNITION OF ITS EXCELLENCE IN CORPORATE COMMUNICATION AND THE NATIONAL DIGITAL NARRATIVE INDUSTRY, AND ON THE OCCASION OF TWENTY-FIVE YEARS SINCE ITS PRESENCE IN THE EGYPTIAN MARKET.
This recognition comes in recognition of the extended role played by Huawei as a partner in the development of digital infrastructure, and a supporter of capacity building and knowledge transfer, in addition to its ability to transform technical achievement into an institutional narrative that reflects a long-term partnership with the Egyptian state, based on trust and investment in people.
The award was received by William Zhang, Head of Government Relations and Strategic Communication at Huawei Egypt.
Cardo was also honored for its innovations in connected smart devices, and the award was received by Mr. Ahmed Adel, President of the company.
Noventec was honored for its role in enabling organizations to adopt generative artificial intelligence solutions and build advanced cybersecurity systems. The award was received by Eng. Mohamed Nabil, Director of Cybersecurity Business Development at the company.
Dell Technologies was honored for its role in building the digital infrastructure supporting digital transformation, and the award was received by Eng. Mohamed Mabrouk, the company's public sector sales manager.
