Mohammed bin Rashid Witnesses Graduation of 522 Content Creators at the 1 Billion Followers Summit
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, witnessed the graduation of 522 content creators and new media specialists from seven specialized programs organized by the UAE Government Media Office and the New Media Academy, in collaboration with several partners.
The graduation ceremony took place during the fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, the world’s largest global event dedicated to the content creation economy. The summit is organized by the UAE Government Media Office and hosted by the United Arab Emirates from January 9 to 11, across Emirates Towers, Dubai International Financial Centre, and the Museum of the Future, under the theme “Meaningful Content.”
The summit brings together more than 15,000 content creators and influencers, along with over 500 speakers followed by a combined audience exceeding 3.5 billion followers worldwide.
Sheikh Mohammed congratulated the graduates, affirming that these qualified talents represent a significant addition to the UAE’s government communication and digital media ecosystem, contributing to delivering the UAE’s message to the world in a modern, responsible, and impactful manner.
“Investing in people is the foundation of building the future. Preparing professional content creators is a key pillar in keeping pace with global changes, producing content that reflects the UAE’s values, supports its development ambitions, and strengthens its regional and global leadership,” His Highness said.
The graduation was attended by His Excellency Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs.

The graduation also featured specialized programs focusing on official spokesperson skills, media presence, crisis communication, and humanitarian impact content creation in both Arabic and English, highlighting storytelling techniques, video production, AI-powered content tools, and digital publishing strategies.
