NTRA Ensures Top-Quality Telecom Services Ahead of the Grand Egyptian Museum Inauguration

In line with the directives of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) continues its efforts to ensure the highest quality of telecom services during the official inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum on Saturday, November 1st.

As part of the national preparations for this landmark global event, the NTRA has intensified coordination with mobile network operators to guarantee full readiness of the telecom infrastructure surrounding the museum. The Authority has overseen extensive work to enhance and expand telecommunications networks within and around the museum area.

In addition, the NTRA has conducted comprehensive quality measurements of telecom services along all major routes leading to the museum — including roads connecting Cairo’s airports and the Pyramids Plateau — to ensure seamless coverage and optimal connectivity for visitors and international delegations.

The Authority also supervised the installation of multiple mobile towers and antenna sites, reinforcing network capacity and performance to deliver a superior communication experience throughout the event.

This initiative reflects the Ministry’s and NTRA’s commitment to supporting Egypt’s global image by ensuring reliable, world-class digital and communication services during one of the most anticipated cultural openings in the country’s history.
