Valu Partners with RoboGarden Egypt to Power “Learn to Earn” Digital Skills Initiative for Underserved Youth

Valu, the MENA region’s leading financial technology powerhouse, has joined forces with RoboGarden Egypt, the AI-driven EdTech platform, to support the “Learn to Earn” initiative — a pioneering effort to equip Egyptian youth, women, and people with disabilities with vital digital skills for today’s job market.
Through this partnership, Valu will offer flexible payment plans that make specialized training programs more accessible to underserved communities. The initiative, led by RoboGarden Egypt, offers hybrid learning experiences in areas such as web development, empowering participants with skills that can lead to remote employment or freelance opportunities.
“This collaboration reflects Valu’s deep-rooted commitment to education and to the community we serve,” said Walid Hassouna, CEO of Valu. “Initiatives like ‘Learn to Earn’ allow us to channel our financial tools toward meaningful, long-term social impact. We are proud to partner with RoboGarden to help individuals from marginalized backgrounds gain access to the digital economy.”
The program features self-paced modules, live online sessions, and in-person workshops. Upon completing at least 75% of the coursework, learners receive a certificate of completion. Progress is monitored through attendance, engagement, and performance metrics.
As part of the initiative, Valu is sponsoring five training cohorts at its flagship Valu Café, supporting 20 students in total. In each cohort, four participants will receive a 50% discount on tuition, making this pathway more inclusive and financially viable.
> “This initiative transcends digital learning — it represents a human-centered mission to provide equal access to opportunity,” said Lamise Negm, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at RoboGarden Egypt and Advisor to the Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority. “It opens doors for women, youth in remote areas, and individuals with disabilities, helping them integrate into the technology sector without having to leave their communities or face systemic barriers.”
RoboGarden Egypt aims to reach 1,000 learners by the end of 2025, with each training cohort consisting of 25 participants. CEO and Co-founder Engy El Sabban emphasized the scalable nature of the hybrid training model and the role it plays in enhancing workforce competitiveness in Egypt.
> “Around 60% of Egyptian university graduates struggle to find employment due to a mismatch between academic education and market demands,” El Sabban noted. “This initiative bridges that gap by focusing on vocational and practical training, enabling learners to access flexible career paths and remote job opportunities.”
Backed by Valu’s fintech solutions, the “Learn to Earn” initiative aligns with Egypt’s national development goals and reflects a growing trend of private sector engagement in inclusive digital transformation.
