In response to recent disruptions in internet and mobile services caused by the fire at Ramses Central in downtown Cairo, the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) has directed all telecom operators in Egypt to provide immediate compensation to affected users.
10GB for Fixed Internet, 1GB for Mobile Users
As part of the compensation package:
Fixed internet subscribers receive 10 GB of free data.
Mobile users are granted 1 GB of free data, with an additional 5 GB available for those whose fixed-line service remains interrupted.
The compensations are being applied automatically, requiring no action from users or visits to service centers.

✅ Vodafone Egypt
Vodafone users can claim 1 GB of free data by dialing:

To ensure the bonus is applied correctly, customers are advised to use the number linked to their home internet subscription.
✅ Orange Egypt
Orange is offering 10 GB of free data to affected users. Customers can activate the offer by dialing:

Users can monitor their data usage via the My Orange app or by calling 110.
✅ Etisalat Misr
Etisalat has automatically credited 10 GB of free fixed internet to eligible accounts.
No code is needed. Customers can confirm the bonus via the My Etisalat app or by calling 01111234333.
✅ Telecom Egypt (WE)
WE has also automatically added 10 GB of compensation data to affected fixed-line internet accounts.
Users can verify the addition via the My WE app or by calling the short code 111.
Regulator’s Statement
The NTRA emphasized that this initiative aims to mitigate the impact of service outages and uphold consumer rights, especially as millions of Egyptians rely heavily on digital connectivity for work, study, and essential services.
