Orange Appoints Yasser Shaker as CEO of Middle East and Africa Operations and Chairman of Orange Egypt

The Orange Group has officially announced the appointment of Eng. Yasser Shaker, the current CEO of Orange Egypt, as Executive Vice President and CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa (OMEA), effective July 1, 2025. In agreement with the Board of Directors of Orange MEA, Shaker will also join the Group’s Executive Committee, further solidifying his leadership position within the global telecom giant.

In addition to his new regional responsibilities, Eng. Shaker has also been appointed Chairman of Orange Egypt, effective August 1, 2025, signaling a continuity of strategic oversight at both the national and regional levels.

During his tenure as CEO of Orange Egypt, Shaker successfully led the company through a comprehensive transformation journey.
