In line with its commitment to social responsibility and community support during the holy season of Eid Al-Adha, Damen, Egypt’s leading electronic payment solutions provider, has announced the launch of its Qurbani Certificate Purchase Service via its nationwide network of payment kiosks.

This initiative is being rolled out in collaboration with some of Egypt’s most reputable charitable organizations, including Misr El Kheir Foundation, Orman Charity Association, Dr. Mostafa Mahmoud Association, and Zahrawan Society. The service aims to simplify the donation process and enable citizens to fulfill their religious obligation of Qurbani and share its blessings with underprivileged families—quickly, securely, and without the need to travel or queue.

Promoting Financial Inclusion and Charitable Culture

Eng. Sameh El Mallah, CEO of Damen, emphasized that this initiative is part of the company’s broader vision to support financial inclusion by expanding access to digital services in rural and underserved areas. “Our goal is to make charitable giving easier and more accessible through smart, secure payment tools. With our extensive service network, we are empowering citizens to give back to their communities in a seamless, efficient manner,” he said.

To maximize reach and awareness, Damen plans to promote the initiative across its digital platforms, providing simple guidelines on how to purchase Qurbani certificates, while highlighting its strategic partnerships with leading charitable institutions.

Exceptional Performance and Continuous Growth

Damen’s CEO also revealed impressive performance figures, noting that the company currently processes more than 600,000 electronic transactions per day, representing a 51% increase compared to the same period last year. The company now offers over 4,000 diverse services, operates 26 branches across Egypt, and works with a network of more than 100,000 merchants.

In a major step toward digital transformation, Damen is preparing to launch a new mobile application tailored for merchants, aimed at streamlining payments and transaction management. The company is also exploring expansion into new Arab and European markets, enhancing its regional and global footprint.

Furthermore, Damen now serves 171 partner institutions, reflecting the growing confidence in its ability to deliver innovative and reliable payment solutions.
