Huawei strengthens its game with the Ascend 910D to dominate the AI market
According to the Wall Street Journal, the first samples of the Ascend 910D AI chip will be delivered to Chinese companies by the end of May. If the tests are successful, Huawei could offer a national alternative to the advanced American chips developed by Nvidia. This would be a crucial lever for Beijing’s technological autonomy.

This favorable context pushes Huawei to multiply initiatives, notably through its CloudMatrix 384 infrastructure. This is a system optimized for intensive computing that connects several Ascend AI chips. Its primary function is to maximize processing power.
An AI offensive shaking up the global balance
The rise of Huawei in AI is not limited to chips. The company is also shipping more than 800,000 units of its older Ascend 910B and 910C models. This helps consolidate its network with telecom operators and AI app developers like ByteDance!
