Coincidence or Manufacturing Defect? A Frustrating Experience with Kieslect Smartwatches Raises Questions

A recent consumer experience with a Kieslect smartwatch is raising critical questions regarding the brand's quality control and after-sales service, following multiple device failures within a single month.

The consumer purchased the smartwatch based on the brand's specialized reputation and advertised specifications, particularly a promised battery life ranging from 7 to 15 days under normal usage, and up to 44 days in power-saving mode. However, the initial device's battery failed to last even 24 hours.

Repeated Malfunctions and Service Delays

Upon returning the defective watch to the authorized service center, the customer was informed that the technical inspection would take five days. Following a delayed process, the service center eventually replaced the faulty device with a brand-new unit.

The situation escalated when the replacement watch malfunctioned within its first 24 hours of use—this time suffering from an unresponsive touch screen. The customer was once again forced to return the device to the agent and is currently enduring another five-day waiting period for a second technical inspection.

Quality Control and Consumer Rights

The recurring issues prompt fundamental questions that go beyond mere coincidence. Experiencing two distinct, critical defects in two separate new devices within less than a month casts doubt on the manufacturer's quality assurance protocols and its ability to deliver products that meet advertised standards.

The incident highlights broader concerns regarding consumer rights and after-sales efficiency. Rather than enjoying a new product, the buyer has spent a month navigating defects, inspections, and extended waiting periods, sparking a necessary debate on whether such experiences reflect isolated coincidences or a systemic manufacturing issue that warrants urgent review.
