Huawei Egypt Offers Free Repair Labour During Three-Day September Service Campaign
Huawei is offering customers in Egypt a three-day window to repair selected smart devices without paying labour or installation fees, as the company puts greater focus on after-sales support and extending the usable life of its devices.
The service campaign will run from September 6 to 8 and will cover eligible Huawei products brought to the company’s official service channels and authorized collection points.
Rather than offering completely free repairs, the initiative removes the cost of labour and installation for qualifying devices. Any replacement components required during the repair will be original Huawei parts, with eligibility depending on the specific device model and the conditions of the campaign.
Customers can check whether their device qualifies through Huawei’s official customer service centers or authorized collection points before submitting it for repair.
180-day warranty on completed repairs
Huawei is also backing repairs carried out during the campaign with an official 180-day warranty, giving customers additional coverage after their devices leave the service center.
Repairs will be handled by specialized engineers and technicians using original components, according to the company.
The initiative comes as smartphone and consumer electronics makers increasingly compete beyond hardware specifications, with after-sales support, repair availability and the cost of maintaining a device becoming a bigger part of the overall ownership experience.
For Huawei, the September campaign provides an opportunity to bring existing users back into its official service network, where repairs can be carried out using approved components rather than third-party alternatives.
The limited three-day format also makes the campaign particularly relevant to users who have postponed repairs because of service costs, although customers may still need to pay for replacement parts where required.
Huawei said the campaign forms part of its wider approach to customer care in Egypt, with the company seeking to maintain device performance through technical support and officially supported repairs.
For eligible customers, the key dates are September 6 through 8, when labour and installation charges will be waived for participating Huawei devices, with a 180-day warranty covering repairs completed under the campaign.
