NTI Marks Graduation of 775 Trainees from Advanced ‘AI Ambassadors’ Program

The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) has marked the graduation of 775 trainees, forming the third cohort, from the advanced level of its AI Ambassadors program, run in partnership with Engineers for A Sustainable Egypt Foundation. The ceremony was held at NTI's Smart Village premises and attended by senior officials from both organizations.

AI Ambassadors is Egypt's largest program for training non-specialists in artificial intelligence. It gives participants practical tools they can apply directly to their work, helping improve performance and support digital transformation. The program sits within the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology's (MCIT) broader efforts to build digital skills nationwide and widen access to AI training.

The advanced curriculum covers neural networks and deep learning, data-driven decision-making through no-code platforms like Google Vertex AI; and generative AI and natural language processing tools such as ChatGPT. Trainees also learn automation on Make and Zapier.

Beyond that, the program introduces productivity tools including Gemini, Copilot and DeepSeek; workflow automation through Automation Anywhere, Power Automate and the ChatGPT API; and a basic grounding in predictive analytics, classification, regression, and clustering.

A section on generative AI and deepfakes covers detection methods, and each trainee completes a project applying what they have learned to a sector of their choice: business, healthcare, education, or government.

The program has drawn strong and growing interest since its launch, across both its basic and advanced tracks, a testament to how quickly AI awareness is spreading through Egypt's workforce
