hamdy Abdelrashid

Ayman El-Ashry, Member of the Export Development Committee and Chairman of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, affirmed that the inauguration of Egypt’s new Strategic Command Center, "The Octagon," in the New Administrative Capital—considered one of the largest and most advanced strategic command complexes globally—represents a historical and strategic milestone. He noted that this monumental achievement reflects the scale of development unfolding in Egypt and confirms the state's possession of a comprehensive, advanced system for crisis management, national security protection, and overall readiness to face various challenges, thereby supporting its comprehensive developmental and economic journey.

El-Ashry extended his sincere congratulations to H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, as well as to the personnel of the Egyptian Armed Forces and the great Egyptian people, on the inauguration of this national edifice. He emphasized that the continuous development of the state's strategic institutions reflects a vision aimed at consolidating the pillars of stability and supporting the development process, which enhances Egypt's standing and its ability to keep pace with regional and international shifts.

The Chairman pointed out that building modern, efficient, and ready institutions is a fundamental pillar of strong economies. He explained that the integration within the command and management system reflected by "The Octagon" cements the business community's confidence in the state's ability to provide a stable environment. This stability allows investors to engage in long-term planning and encourages the expansion of industrial and productive projects.

The Export Development Committee member further clarified that the significance of this edifice is not limited to enhancing the readiness of state institutions; its impact extends to supporting the national economy. It provides the necessary stability for industrial and commercial growth, secures supply chains, and sustains production momentum. This, in turn, boosts the competitiveness of Egyptian exports and increases the national economy's capacity to efficiently navigate regional and global variables.

El-Ashry stressed that the state's reliance on cutting-edge technological and digital systems within this complex reflects an integrated approach toward raising management efficiency and accelerating decision-making. These elements have become primary pillars for future economies, contributing to the establishment of governance principles, improving the business environment, and elevating institutional performance. Consequently, this enhances the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy and creates a more attractive climate for investments.

The Chairman of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce expressed the optimism of the business community and the private sector regarding the continuous development of Egypt's institutions and strategic infrastructure. He affirmed that these efforts bolster investor confidence in the Egyptian economy, supporting the state's ability to attract further investments, increase production, boost exports, and achieve sustainable development goals.

Concluding his remarks, El-Ashry reiterated that the ongoing development of state institutions is a crucial pillar for supporting the national economy and enhancing its competitiveness. He wished the valiant Egyptian Armed Forces continued success in fulfilling their national mission, and wished Egypt and its people further progress, prosperity, and the successful continuation of the comprehensive development journey, the fruits of which will positively reflect on the national economy and the citizens' standard of living.
