NTI Hosts Intilaka 4 under Auspices of MCIT
The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) is hosting the fourth edition of Intilaka on May 21 at its premises in Knowledge City, the New Capital. The event is organized in collaboration with the Higher Technological Institute in Beni Suef and the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Intilaka is a scientific and technological competition that brings together universities, institutes, and academies, with the aim of empowering youth to transform their ideas into real-world projects and leveraging scientific research outcomes to develop value-added products with positive social and economic impact.
The competition encourages students from national and private universities, as well as higher institutes, to develop innovative solutions in several areas, including software development, computer networks, new and renewable energy, cybersecurity, mechatronics technology, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). It also seeks to boost collaboration among academia, industry, and government institutions to address societal needs and contribute to sustainable development.
Joined by 19 universities and institutes, the event features 105 innovative projects across various fields, including 51 in mechatronics, 39 in networking software, and 15 in renewable energy. Projects are evaluated by a judging panel comprising professors, experts, and specialists.
Since its launch, Intilaka has served as a dynamic platform for discovering creative talent and transforming ideas into graduation projects and market-ready innovations. The first three editions featured distinguished practical experiences that strengthened young people’s engagement with software sciences, AI, telecom engineering, new and renewable energy, and advanced technologies.

For more than four decades, the institute has served as a center of excellence in training, research, development, and consultancy across ICT disciplines, offering advanced training courses, postgraduate programs, and international certifications for students, graduates, and professionals across Egypt.
