During a specialized workshop organized by the Food Export Council in collaboration with the National Food Safety Authority (NFSA), Dr. Ayman Abou Zahra, a prominent pharmaceutical industry leader, emphasized that the dietary supplements sector is undergoing a profound transformation. Abou Zahra noted that establishing clear regulatory frameworks for registration and circulation is essential for protecting consumers and supporting reputable manufacturers.
He highlighted that Egypt’s robust industrial base in both pharmaceuticals and food production provides a unique competitive advantage, enabling local firms to meet the surging domestic and international demand. By aligning local production with scientific documentation and global quality standards, Egyptian companies are well-positioned to expand their footprint across diverse international markets, turning the "Made in Egypt" label into a hallmark of trust in the healthcare and nutrition sectors.
