Orange Egypt has officially launched the 16th edition of the Orange Social Venture Prize (OSVP) in Africa and the Middle East, inviting Egyptian startups to compete for regional recognition and significant financial backing. Since its inception in 2011, OSVP has been a cornerstone for tech-driven social innovation. The 2026 edition offers a total prize pool of €70,000, including a dedicated category for women-led projects, aimed at fostering a more diverse and inclusive digital economy.
Egyptian startups under five years old are encouraged to apply by May 10, 2026, via the official portal. The competition follows a two-tier structure: a national phase where three winners are selected, followed by an international grand finale where they compete against innovators from 17 countries across the MEA region. By providing access to a vast network of experts and investors, Orange Egypt is accelerating the growth of startups that leverage AI, data analytics, and digital solutions to solve pressing societal challenges.
