Solo Satoshi Launches Bitaxe Turbo Touch, a Home Bitcoin Miner with Integrated Touchscreen

Solo Satoshi has announced the launch of a new Bitcoin mining device called Bitaxe Turbo Touch, a compact miner designed for hobbyists and users interested in mining Bitcoin from home. The device features an open-source design and includes an integrated touchscreen for displaying real-time mining data.

The new device is considered one of the most powerful open-source mining units designed for home use, delivering a mining capacity of approximately 2.15 terahashes per second (TH/s)—nearly double the performance of many small mining devices equipped with touchscreens within the same category.

The miner is built on the open-source Bitaxe GT 801 platform and operates using two BM1370 ASIC chips. These are the same chips used in the industrial mining device Bitmain Antminer S21 Pro produced by Bitmain, enabling an operational efficiency of around 18 joules per terahash.

During performance tests, the device was able to exceed 3 terahashes per second when overclocked.

The Bitaxe Turbo Touch is equipped with a 4.3-inch touchscreen that displays mining information in real time, including hash rate, the current price of Bitcoin, the latest block height on the network, and details about recently mined blocks. Network data is sourced from the blockchain explorer mempool.space.
