Saudi Stock Market Narrows Losses Mid-Session After Sharp Opening Decline
The Saudi stock market retreated during mid-session trading, with the benchmark index trimming part of the sharp losses recorded at the opening bell.
By midday, the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) was down 2.43%, compared with losses nearing 5% at the start of trading.
The market had opened under heavy selling pressure, sending the index sharply lower within the first minutes of the session. However, a partial rebound later helped reduce losses to around 2.5%, reflecting some stabilization after the initial wave of sell-offs.
