Amid ongoing challenges facing Egypt’s national industry, Dr. Samir Aref, Chairman of the Tenth of Ramadan Investors Association, emphasized the importance of protecting local industry and supporting investors. He highlighted the role of the Investor Support application launched by the Ministry of Industry in facilitating communication with government authorities and resolving investor issues, while noting the need for further activation.

Dr. Aref stressed the importance of a dedicated team to monitor requests and complaints on the ground to ensure swift and effective responses. He also called for a review of outdated legislation, including labor laws, tax regulations, and landlord-tenant relations, to align with current requirements, enhance the investment climate, and encourage local manufacturing.

He further underscored the need to involve young professionals in the upcoming government to directly address challenges faced by investors and industrialists, urging Parliament to support clear legislation that keeps pace with economic and industrial developments.
